Good morning. Waiting for some active weather possible later this afternoon. Hope the thunderstorms miss us.

Good luck today, Dick.

Good Morning!!! Lots of clouds this morning and thunderstorms may hit us later this afternoon. We are planning some indoor activities for today at Ikea. Our daughter is picking us up and having us help her find some items for the new house.
Thoughts and prayers for all those in need.
Have a happy hump day everyone!!!

Good morning all, going to head into the paper vault with our facilities guy today to decide what needs to go to shredding & what we have to keep as they don't want to take everything to our new building next year. That will be a fun morning

John has a market later, he got rained out last week & not looking great for today. Hope there is a break long enough for people to come out & buy cookies :D

Have a great day

Oh gosh, Karen - August 1 is right. Crazy. This is the month we become empty nesters! TJ moves into his apt. today and Matthew goes to college next Friday. WOW!

Today's another work day for me, but I'll probably duck out early to head to Athens w/ a car load to unload at TJ's apartment, and then I'll load him up at the grocery store.

Have a good one! Rain is in the forecast for as far as the 48hr screen shows.

How are you feeling about all of it, Donna? Being an "empty nester"? I dreaded it, and then when it happened, after the first couple of days I realized that David and I were able to go where we wanted, do what we wanted, and we eased quickly into being a married couple who could now concentrate most of our time on each other again. It was nice. I hope it's an easy transition for you and Mike too.

Good morning all. Finally a day with no plans. I'm okay with it being overcast but would like the rain to hold off so I can sit by the pool today.

Enjoy your day friends.

I have very mixed emotions about it, Linda - mostly bc so much of our life is up in the air. The assumption was that the boys would go to school, and I'd start spending a lot of time in Tx w/ Mike - which would keep him from flying back and forth constantly. But - things are not so settled there - and each of his trips is only booked a week or so in advance (on their dime), so it's hard for me to book trips economically (our dime).

TJ going to school was ok. I was sad/proud/excited/happy/nervous, etc. - all the usual, but the difference was that TJ was only an hour away, and Matthew was still home. As of next Friday, Matthew will be 3.5 hours away - and no one will be here. I've been a wreck since spring, and it's only going to get worse as the next week or two go by.

Good Morning!

Geez it rains everywhere but at my house. Ya think I lived in the desert.
Very warm and humid today, may get a rain storm later this evening, fingers crossed

Today, 48 years ago, I met Larry at his brothers wedding. We were married 2 years later (April) in the same church.
Have nice day ALL~

Meant to say "welcome home Pens!"...hope your first day back is an easy one. DonnaLee...a milestone in your life for sure...and sorry things are up in the air about Texas....I do think you will adjust to the 'new normal' quicker than you think. My best friend in NH has one child...she (the mother) listened when others said from experience 'you will adjust quickly' but thought "not me ...they don't understand"....daughter went off to college about 3 hours away...came home for Columbus Day weekend....friend said 'geeze when is she going back..our calm, fun lives are being disrupted" It is a natural progression...you will be fine!
