morning, sunny day here.

was texting my nephew billy yesterday while he was in ireland as a stopover to london. i told them to go to the temple bar area and to check out the brazen head, they had lunch there. also told him to try to get to a pub to listen to some music, hopefully they did. believe it or not it was 1000 less for them to fly into ireland and stay overnight that it was to fly directly to london.

Billy, his grandfather, aunt nicole and cousins nic and dante

billy and nic at guinness. Billy actually sent me a video of this while he was there, love rainbows!

i'll have to ask him about his new "friend",

Good morning,
Nice pic's Linda, that crazy it was so much cheaper with a layover!

Judi, hope good new for Dick.
Ingrid, sorry poor Everett is still suffering. A friend of mine used to get a mild case of gout & said tart cherry juice helps.

I read yesterday's HH & was laughing about the snakes, I can't stand them & we always have some each year. I am sure John doesn't tell about them all as most are harmlessly in the yard doing what they are good at, eating mice & chipmunks. But at the beginning of summer there was about a 4' one in our laundry room  John took it outside while I held the door open whilst trying to stay as far away as I could
We also have a couple doe's with fawns that play in our yard, when we come out they stop for a while, look at us then carry on.
We also have foxes, skunks  , raccoons, & I am sure bears although I didn't see any this year.

Have a great day, be well :D

Good morning!

Linda, awesome photos of Billy in Dublin! The Brazen Head was at the top of the list to hit when we were there. David had been there a few times before. Did you walk through all of the rooms? Lots of interesting stuff in there. Good food and it was there that I determined that I like Bushmills over Jameson.

Ingrid, sorry that Evert is still suffering with gout. Hopefully the doctors can help him get this under control soon.

Pammy, I hate snakes and I think I'd move out of this house if I ever found one in it. Hate them!

Gorgeous but humid day here today. Heading to Mom's for lunch, then later this afternoon Butty has an "elderly cat" check up at the cat hospital. We've noticed a couple of changes in him and just need to get them checked out to make sure it's just him getting older.

Enjoy your day friends!

JohnT, we have had temperatures between 28 and 38 degrees Celsius the last 2 months. At my office, the temperature is anything between 26 and 42 degrees Celsius. High humidity, but no rain the last week, to add more trouble, and not much wind. Next two weeks forecast: between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius, and no rain.

Good morning! Karen, it has cooled off here for awhile--especially since yesterday's rain. When I woke up it was only 60F/15c. That's almost chilly for July in Kansas.

One or two of the nieces will be doing brunch with me. She needs to text me when she is ready. Then I have a free day.

Good Morning. TJ and I just had to run out to take the new boat over to the ramp to be picked up for it's 20-hour service. I have a feeling it has lots more than 20 hours.

A full day of work, followed by working at our church preschool to get things ready for 'back to school' night coming up soon.

TJ moves into his apt tomorrow and Matthew heads to the beach w/ some friends for a few days. He's smoking 4 Boston Butts today to make a little extra money from regular customers.

Have a good one.

Oh, JohnT - I'm prompted to reenter my username/password every once in a while on my laptop (and every single time on my phone!).

Good Morning!
Temps heading to the 80's, humid, hoping for rain.
Landscapers are here, looking good so far, really really hoping for rain.
Our New Jersey friends left this morning. We had a fun 4 days, lots of laughs, learned a new card game, drank beer, ate way too much. J & J come Friday for 9 days, son and DIL are going to Puerto Vallarta for their 20th anniversary trip.

Have a great say ALL~

Hi everyone.

Partly cloudy, 80°; should get to 85°. Spent the morning at the pool. Need to run quick errand then quiet rest of day.

Hope Evert's gout flare up resolves quickly, Ingrid. Does he try to follow a gout (uretic acid reduction) diet?

Nice pics of Billy and family, Linda.

Prayers are with those in need.
