Saturday I went to the liquor store
Since having this new vehicles I don’t need a key to start it, I have to push the button to turn it off
Well I must have forgotten but left it unlocked because I had a propane tank to be filled too
So I’m in the store for 10 minuets with it running and unlocked SMH

never mind forgetting what I went to other room/floor for

Mine has the push button, too.
If the car is running & I get out & take the key with me, it will honk at me.
Sometimes the key is in my purse, sometimes my pocket. When I stop to get the mail, I leave the car running, since I am only 2 feet from it. Honk. Grrrr.

I'm having one right now... This morning, I set an alarm on my phone for 11:30am. It just went off, but I have no idea why!

We have a spot here in our office we call the Bermuda Triangle. People often get to that spot and stand there for a minute cause they forgot where they were headed!

I do the distracted cleaning at home also. Start one thing, see something else and go off on a tangent. I eventually find my way back to my original task!

My husband always jokingly - or not - tells me I have A.D.D. I found a funny tshirt in a magazine once that says "They said I have A.D.D. but they just don't understand. Oh look! A Chicken!" So when I start telling him a story and change to another subject, he just says...oh look, a chicken!!

Watching my mom's decline from dementia and Alzheimer's over the last few years was very difficult before she died last month. Of course, any time I forget something I get nervous. I'll do anything I can to help keep my mind sharp.

What is this thread about again???

Nothing worse than Two seniors trying to figure out iPads, iPods, cellphones and computers..and new digital SLR cameras. It’s bad enough that I have my own issues, but George comes to me with his. The blind leading the blind. The look on his face when I ask him for his Apple ID/password. I have to make the calls to Dell because he cannot hear or understand the accents. He’ll ask me why did such and such happen and what did you do. I don’t know, I just did it
