I'm sure alot of us are having these. Yesterday morning George told me he found a carton of ice cream in the microwave. This was me - I nuked it for about 10 seconds to make it easier to scoop, then must have put it back in instead of the freezer. Anyone have any moments to share?

Back when I used to bowl, one of the women in the league was selling stuff for one of her kids. I bought a cheesecake(one that has a slice or two of a few different flavors). I left it in my Jeep when I got home. I've put ice cream in the fridge. I put drinks in the freezer to get cold fast and forget about them. I'm sure there are others, but that's all I can think of right now.

One night probably about 10-12 years ago we were going out to supper. I went out and started the car to warm it up. In the meantime we decided to just have Chinese ordered in. Well come 5:00 the next morning Mike is going to work and comes back in to tell me my car is running.  The yellow light for low gas was on.

Saturday I went to the liquor store
Since having this new vehicles I don’t need a key to start it, I have to push the button to turn it off
Well I must have forgotten but left it unlocked because I had a propane tank to be filled too
So I’m in the store for 10 minuets with it running and unlocked SMH

never mind forgetting what I went to other room/floor for

One day last year I admitted to Elaine that I was wrong about something. But as it turns out, I was right. It happens to all of us...

I've been stupid for years  . I often leave the garage door wide open after driving in and carrying something into the house. Came down once in the middle of the night to check to see if I did and as I was going to press the button to close the door saw someone in the driver's seat. I screamed and yelled to get the hell out (while wearing next to nothing  ). I think he was drunk, once he got out of the car, he asked how to get out of the garage

I can relate to this. My vehicle has push button start. I had a performance in Ybor City (Tampa) and all parking lots were
pricey ($15.00) and I got no perks. Parked in public lot for $3.00. The short of it; My SUV was running but, locked from 6:30 to 9:45pm.

Duh!

Laura, Kenny also nukes his ice cream. i hate to admit i have more "moments" than i care to admit. I am constantly going into a room for something and then forgetting why, sometimes it takes 3 trips to figure it out.

what im really good at is going to do something, see something else, go on that route and then see something else i wanted to do and change over to that. sometimes an hour or more later i'll see what i originally wanted to do and im like, oh crap thats what i started out to do

We were at Olde Mistic Village in CT shopping (Karen goes in every store) got back to the car 2 hours later the car was unlocked and nice and cool, I had left it running.
So used to doing dumb things I do not get embarrassed anymore.

Linda I do this ALL the time!
Many years ago not long after John & I got married we were over at his parents house to shower (all of our drains were blocked  ) I was stressed & wanted tea but they didn't have a kettle so the only way to heat water was in the microwave  . Put a tea bag in the cup & into the microwave, about 30 seconds later we hear a load bang! I had forgotten to put water in the cup & exploded the cup

After reading through this thread, I'm so happy to realize I'm not alone with this. I literally live and die by my "lists" these days, because if I don't write it down, I forget it.

Glad I’m not alone with the vehicle!

Linda, it’s hard to clean with Jim home because I do what you do and have 5 things going at once.
He gets annoyed but does the same, just doesn’t see it
