I was never able to find an obituary for him. I know his daughter said details were private (and I totally respect that) but it's always nice to know even in your head where someone's final resting place is. Putting the pieces together, I do think maybe his illness was more progressed than he let on. He never complained, whined, did a "poor me" when he well could have. I hope he's resting peacefully, and that his family is doing okay...

If he ever had a doubt before, for sure he now knows how much he was loved and respected here in the Swamp.

well said young lady...I have looked all so...I think I will look again.

No...Can't find a obit, but wouldn't there have to be one?

No doesn't 'have' to be, my written instructions for my executrix are no service or obit with a note that if my mother is still around and bullys you, I will understand. I think it is a bit different though with a large family. Maybe they will have a celebration of life service at a later date. My brother did that a year after his wife's passing since his kids needed closure.

i think it depends on the state. when my dad passed in FL we didn't have anything there but by law the funeral home had to publish the death notice.

Dan I think that would be very nice

Barley pop and Cool Ranch Doritos. He's with us in spirit every day, especially during HH.

It sucks that he left us...( I'm mad at him )...Yea...I know, but still don;t leave me hanging.
I forgive you John...I know you tried the best you could...I'm the selfish " monkey."

To let you go is to let go of a something that not forgiving....Happinest comes from with in, and I feel that you were happy to the end.
I wouldn't mind if you toss that ball one more time.

Please forgive me...I thought you had beat it, but I was naive...( story of my life )

I'm sorry...There is more I feel, but I can not share.

Let my arms wrap you close...John...and together we will answer those questions. :D
