My brain is not functioning well today but....I will start with a couple of suggestions for beach/pool reads.

The Castaways by Elin Hilderbrand. Anything by her is good but this one really captured my interst.

The Silent Wife by A.S.A. Harrison

What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty (author of Big Little Lies which was great). Only about a third through but really like it so far.

The Heist by Janet Evonavich....a series with new characters...start with this one which is the first (I have 2-5...Judi needs this one if anyone has it ) ....good beach/pool reading

Sooo what are you reading?

Going from memory at the moment...

I enjoy Elin Hilderbrand, lots of good summer reading with her books. Another yes for Liane Moriarty, I think there may be a few others of hers that I have read. Ruth Ware, The Woman in Cabin 10 and The Dark Dark Wood were easy read mysterys that I just finished.

All my books are the library's but will buy a book to take to Ar*ba so I can trade at the 'timeshare library'. Janet E - If you still need this book in March Judi, let me know....

Right now I am reading Jo Nesbo, The Snowman.

I have read some of Jo Nesbo. I have read more of the so-called "Nordic Noir" authors...almost everything by Jussi Adler-Olsen (Danish). It is sort of "cold case" in Denmark.
Also, Henning Mankell and Hakan Nesser (Swedish) and Arnuld Indraioson (Icelandic).
More about U.S. authors later.

Thanks for the recommendations, all!

I'm usually a huge James Patterson fan, but the last two books of his I've read have been just meh. Time to step outside of the box. Appreciate all of the recommendations.
