Good morning, another steamy day here. We will both be in the cookie kitchen baking today, I will be making both English & maple shortbread, then oatbars using the strawberry rhubarb jam I made recently.

Love Lucy's new pic's she is growing up so fast! You can get hotdog bun pans & make your own

Be safe today!
Shaggy, hope you are feeling better & check in soon

nice surprise email from owner late yesterday, she's giving everyone a mid year $2000 bonus. :D

need to cut up some branches before it gets too hot. my SIL's brothers band is playing at the tiki bar from 2-6, may stop there for a bit and then fireworks tonight. finally heard from my BIL about my sisters party on sat. 19 people so far, 10 not responded. him, his dad and sister are doing everything. works for me.

hope shag is ok, thoughts with those in need.

happy 4th

Good Morning!!! Happy 4th of July USA!!! The heat wave continues and I'm ready for cooler temps this coming Saturday. Our daughter's pool was 90°F yesterday. The only relief was inside in the air conditioning!!! Our local TV stations are showing people lining up to get prime spots at the esplanade in Boston for the 4th of July Pops concert and fireworks show tonight. We'll watch it on TV in our air conditioned living room!!!
Thoughts and prayers for those needing them.
Have a great, safe 4th of July everyone!!!

Good Morning!
Ken is working the peach tree road race taking pics this morning for the ABC station. He always has fun doing that. Hope he gets to see MuyLinda's twins...I told him to be on the lookout....only 60K running, so no problem
I am getting ready to go for a run, and boy is it hot and humid already, yikes!
Kids are having fun in FL with Nana, they visited Wakula Springs yesterday and enjoyed it.
I will make my Roasted Vegetable Orzo to bring to our family picnic in SC, pig pickin' for 80, should be fun.
The pig went on the fire last night, so looking forward to seeing the whole family (minus my kids :( )
Wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th.
Thoughts and prayers for those in need.

Carolina -
We asked what their costumes would be this year, but as always, it's a secret. The only defining characteristics I can give on them are that they are close to 6' 5", skinny, they are usually right at the front/start, and they run with a group of about 8 - 10, all dressed basically the same. If Ken posts photos anywhere, let me know.

Good morning and Happy Birthday to the USA! No plans other than staying cool inside and floating in the pool outside for us today. A lot of David's cousins live in Bristol, RI so we always have an open invite to go down and hang with them to watch the parade. Too hot for us this year.

Enjoy your day!

Good morning everyone and Happy Fourth of July. We were invited to a cookout but just too hot so opting for the AC instead. A local country club is open today so may pop over there for a bit. Congrats on the bonus Linda! Enjoy your day everyone! Judi, the Sox are playing at 11am today.

Good Morning and Happy Fourth. No plans here. Food will most likely be whatever I can find in the freezer.
