Sitting downtown at the paddock. Stopped at lucy’s first, no bud! How dare they

Came downtown cause I have been shoed. My class of 1980 has this old golf shoe that travels. When I was up there, the class president gave it me. Now someone from my class has to come pick it up.

Of course Dick takes this opportunity to go to the crystal and seaport.

It’s friggin’ hot and muggy!

Salute!

Sitting on the back piazza enjoying soda water with lemon.
We go to the paddock a few times each trip, foods pretty good and it’s a great people watching spot.

Guess I won't get to Lucy's...damn...I could bring the Bud  I'll settle for Paddock, I do like the water seats.

When I was married there was a stuffed pickle that got passed around my husband's work for pics whenever someone went on vacation. We got to take him to a few places, all before the internet when we would gather to see where the pickle went on vaca.

Cheers, heat and humidity have arrived. :D

Made it to the Cape in a coupe of hours. Better then I thought it would be. We usually do not travel on the weekends but today was a must. Enjoying a Johnnie Black now but will switch to Buckler non-alcoholic later to watch the INR. Steaks on the grill for dinner.

OMG, in with Pinot Grigio and White Claw Wild Cherry. And whatever else I can find. Grandson Jack is going to be 7mo old on July 4th. He is standing up and walking around whenever he can. This Grammy is tired!! 42 1/2 hours a week of childcare is a lot. His Daddy took Monday and Tuesday off and expects us to take care of the baby all day while he does his projects. What do you think? I think he taking advantage of us but want to hear your feedback.

Hmmm, I think reality is kicking in, as cute as a button as I am sure he is, Jack is work. I think the original plan was to school age...grammy is going to need breaks  Time to rediscuss with the big kids. Maybe time to find a relief sitter to give you a break; should be easier now that he is older. Family meeting!!!

When I got in my Jeep to go home, my temp gauge read 116. I have to learn to park in the shade! Actual temp right now is 90. That's making the Fat Tire I'm having taste real good!

Salute everyone!

In with awa. Been feeling poorly so have laid low for a couple of days. Bad timing too, but will overcome. New place is working out great, Cherie is a wonderful help and quickly becoming a part of the family.

Even nana’s Need a break, Marianne. Take it! Parents are the primary care givers. Bless you for helping out, but y’all need your time too!

How’s the hand Karen? I’ve found that iced barley pop can make a lot of things feel better!

Stay cool, Kelly. It’s hot as heck on this side of the state!

Ronnie: Florida? If you go I be your pool boy for a small room and a cooler! :D

Cheers, y’all!

been out by/in the pool since 3. had a few vodka lemonades and tried to facetime judi. did see her, dick and wilma but my wifi kept kicking out. only happens with judi, im going to try to change my router.

maryanne i know you love jack but im sure its exhausting. maybe they just expect you watch him because you normally do during the week. I would say yes that is taking advantage. i love my niece and nephews but both my brother and sister know I am the last resort when it comes to watching them.

just had some ice cream, on to water, cheers!

Good evening. I was at the hospital all day with mom. We got home a couple hours ago. Mike came straight here from the airport. We will spend the night. She's still in a lot of pain, but the only alternative was for more surgery to take it out. Nope.

We had pizza, and I'm in my second large Tervis of Bacardi Tazz and Diet Coke.

Cheers! Good trip to audiologist today - sending hearing aids in for $250 each for "reconditioning." Not buying new ones at the "bankruptcy special" price..... yikes! John, glad your new digs are working well!

Trizz'ed on outside back patio at CRV (Serene Republic of Venice, Venetian-style Bacaro and wine bar. http://www.srvboston.com/ ) with Allie & Joe. Delicious small bites/plate restaurant. Shared a variety of meat, seafood and vegetable selections. Celebrated Allie's 30th birthday, a few days early. Wine for Allie & Joe and ice tea for me. (I was driving back to CT.)

As I got out of the car at the condo last night my neighbor was going into her unit after walking her dog. She said come on over ...the Pinot is chilled. She didn't have to ask twice  She takes care of mail, etc when we are gone. Nice time catching up while enjoying central air!
