Thanks everyone! Just can't stop smiling and laughing at these 2 rambunctious, comical kitties. It was too quiet and lonely the last 6 months without any furbabies.

They are certainly entertaining! Wish I could convince George that we needed one, but I'll just have to make do with my many furbabies at the cat house. I had two launch from the cages onto my shoulder today during feeding and a third one fell out onto the floor  I'm guessing we have about 40 kittens and 15 adults at the shelter now and another ten in foster with some of our volunteers.

It's wonderful all the hours you volunteer at the cat house. It must be so hard not to get attached to the kitties.

My furbabies were apart of a litter of 4 (2 boys & 2 girls) that were delivered by a stray or feral mama on a random porch. They were found cold and wet. Home owner carried babies into garage and dried them off and lured mama in. Door was left open for mama to come & go. After 2 weeks, homeowner called rescue to come get them. They were all under weight and flea bitten/infested. Mama had to be trapped. She was only 6lbs and needed medical care. She is doing well now, was spade, but very leary with people. My girls were in a foster home with mama and littermates for 6 weeks. Kitties were bottled fed until they could switch to solids. They are all healthy and active. :) The 2 males are going to their forever home next week.

I have gotten attached to some of the adults who have since been adopted. The situation you described is how we get most of our cats/kittens. The moms get released back to where they came from if they are feral. We keep them if we think they will be easily adoptable. Kitten season is here and we are full! Thanks for saving your two.
