Had wine with lunch....ardy and friends joined me. Brought them to airport and went back to the beach....I love June on the island...good weather and not many people  Their flight was delayed...then I get home and Larry had sent me e mail to say ardy booked on earlier flight...will be anxious to see if they made it. I didn't hear from her so she is on some flight. Ahhh the joys of traveling! Husband making dinner so life is good here...will have another glass of white later. Judi, I stopped at that bakery once....yummy!!! Wishing everyone a great Friday evening!

Cheers ladies! In with a Bud and a nipper heading out to get something to eat at this little bar that has outside seating, weather is great for outside dining tonight, not that hungry, I'm thinking a Caesars salad w/ grilled chicken. Judi, I may face time you if they have Wifi :D Karen, how was your Greek festival and food?

Ardy and friends made it on the earlier flight that Delta had rebooked them on...arrived safely at JFK....two headed on to Syracuse (by plane) and one going to PA (by car)...all is well! :D

Good to hear Ardy is almost home safe. We had the adjusting to Aruba day. Cleaned a bit, did shopping at the t-shirt shop at Certified Mall (I needed a new cover-up) and at Super Food. Easy to get there, no sweat at all. While we were shopping we bumped into our best friend on the island. We chatted a long time, being a nuisance with our cart blocking the aisle. Going to visit her and her husband this Sunday. Had a bit to eat and a coffee at Jacks Cafe. Back home, swimming pool and a visit for HH from John and Bobbie, the owners of the house we always rent. They leave for Canada tomorrow (they live here about 6 monts a year). Nice that we were able to get together, as this is rare. After they left we had dinner: rotissery chicken from Super Food and sweet potatoes, broccoli and oignons with grated cheese and coconut milk from the oven. More pinot grigio. Now freshly showered watching the telly in the airconditioning. I guess to bed about 10. Not too much problems with the time difference, though.

Made our way up to a little eatery up the road. Had a bowl of black bean soup, split a big Caribbean wrap along with a Cobb salad.
Iced teas to go with it. Only water here tonight. Think allergy is bugging me.

In with Minute Maid Light Lemonade.

Thinking of my mom tonight. Just talked to her for the 3rd time today. She needed to be seen by dr. this afternoon for symptoms of an infection, possible bladder or kidney? Hard to live alone and be sick at 85. I'm in CT & my siblings are in NC. Thankful to have cousins that live close by to check in on her, when needed.

Skyped with Judi, too. Had poor internet connection, but great to chat intermittently with her!

It was good, my golfing partner from 2 yrs ago brought her 30 yr old daughter, who looks like Meagan Markle's twin, so the other 3 of us 60 yr old dolls got a lot of second looks by association  No we dont take pictures, the only one with a phone was the 30 yr old  My donair was da bomb; haven't had one in 20 yrs probably.

Donna, I am sending positive thoughts to your mother. It is so hard to be far away when your mother is ailing. I hope she will recover soon.
