Good morning everyone.
Picking Michael up in New Haven later today. He hasn't been home since Christmas. He wants to stop at his favorite Chinese restaurant on the way home. I'm sure he will spend most of the weekend catching up with friends.
Enjoy the Greek festival, Karen.
Ingrid...enjoy your full first day on the island.
Laura....
Carolina....prayers for Ian's friend. I had to google rhabdomyolysis. Do they know how he injured his muscle(s)?
Prayers to Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdains family and friends. Very, very sad.

Have a great day.

Good morning! I'll be going to the river festival uptown in a few hours and listen to the bands. Finding something I can eat with these dentures may be next to nothing. That's okay. I don't need to spend money on overpriced food. I noticed last night my olfactory sense has improved. The smells of all the food were great. I didn't even want to eat though. I'm inhaling my festival food intake this year.

Karen, enjoy the Greek festival--I had to google donair. Meatloaf with a sweet sauce drizzle?

Laura, glad you had a good time but it's nice to be back to the usual.

Good Morning. Everyone is back into the swing of things here.... Mike arrived home at midnight last night and had a 7am meeting this morning (geez). TJ was gone at the same time for work, and then headed to Athens for the weekend. Matthew just left for a wakeboard park and to spend the night w/ a friend who lives near there. That leaves me at home... took a walk, started a load of laundry, and took my shower. Hoping to have lunch w/ Mike today, then eye appt, then prepping some stuff at church for our minister's retirement luncheon on Sunday.

I hope everyone has a great day.... including those who need prayers for therapy, infections, heartache and more. Take care everyone.

Good morning all.
Ingrid glad you made it safe & sound, enjoy your early morning.
Laura, glad you survived the circus   Looks like you had a great time while they were there.

I am working close to home, will be home for lunch, Walmart after work, then help set up our tent at the Relay for Life field. The walk is tomorrow, I am on the schedule for 5pm as I will be at the market in the morning.

What happened to Anthony Bourdain? I will have to Google.
Just google
Happy Friday all :D

Good Morning!
Dentist for Lilly, Vet for Lucy, Lilly is pet sitting, plant watering, making some $$
Ian' friend is still in the ICU but we hear feeling better.
Hope he gets to come home soon....to answer the Rhabdo question on how he injured his muscles.....when you are so severely dehydrated your body secretes proteins into the blood and that is what caused the injury, or at least that is how I understand it. It can also damage the kidneys. So far, Brandon's kidney are doing well. It was his protein numbers were 19,000 when it was supposed to be 100....they also had trouble stabilizing his blood pressure, that is why they transferred him to the other hospital and ICU.
Praying he gets to go home. Thank you all for your prayers.
Busy day on tap. Wishing everyone a wonderful day. Thoughts and prayers for those in need.
Ingrid....I love that first day too! Enjoy every second of it!
Karen, mmmm Greek food is my favorite! Yummy!
