Hello, all. I have been "lurking" through the swamp for a while, but never posted. I just retired on 6/1 and now have time to do other fun things.

I know several of you live in Canada -----so, I have a quick question.....what is the best way for a Canadian to send money in U.S. dollars to an owner in the U.S. ---to rent their unit in Aruba. Time is ticking as there are only 3 weeks left. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to being a part of the swamp!

Debbie

Hi Debbie, welcome to the swamp! I'm from NS and when I rent, they request a money order in US funds. You can get this at the Post Office. Enjoy your trip and your retirement.

Thanks, Karen. How long will it take for a check to arrive in Virginia if they send it Express mail tomorrow? Sorry, I have no point of reference on this type of thing.

Can't say for sure, day or two maybe. The PO can give you options for delivery times. The more you pay the quicker it gets there.
