I would think that docs should know about a bowel blockage before 3 months.
So much medical malpractice or medical misadventure, but we need to remember the M.D. does not equal G.O.D.!
But it is always desirable to have a medical advocate who will ask pointed questions and keep probing...not accepting the first answer.
