Quiet day here. I'm sipping on a gin and tonic and we'll be having a ribeye on the grill (on sale at Stew Leonard's this week) along with baked tater and veggie.

Anyone watching the Olympics?

We have been watching the Olympics. So amazing to see on the 4K TV!! We had ribeye steak with broccoli tots and Pinot Grigio. The windows and doors are open.....beautiful breeze.
Wahoo!!! Life is good.

Leftover pot roast with fresh potatoes and broccoli. Just water here. We've watched some of the Olympics. We were at the bar with friends and actually enjoyed the curling after researching how it's played and scored.

Must be a steak day. We had marinated flat iron steak, corn and a salad. The grill is put away for the winter so I use my cast iron skillet. Finally got the timing down for medium rare. Best part, no complaints today :D

Demonstrating once again: don't b***h at the hand that feeds ya!

Menu included roast beef, red potatoes, mixed veggies, salad. Couple of bites of each. Appetite is returning!

Brought a couple of cookies and a small piece of roast as snacks for the two of us a bit later. Don't usually give Cully human food, but a once in a while treat won't hurt. She's earned it! :D

Chicken divan casserole (broccoli, chicken, cheese sauce).
Accompanied by 3-ingredient beer batter bread...hot out of oven.
Mixed green salad before.
I was the only one imbibing afterward...some vodka with Perrier.

I had a lasagna "fritta" appetizer thing from Olive Garden - part for lunch after the dentist - my mouth was still part numb - and finished it just now. On my 1st Lite, Cheers!
