It is official 5 pm here, so time to get some nice red wine. In an hour I will cook dinner: steak with fries and green beans.

We did walk in the forest this afternoon, and I was busy planning a trip to Cyprus later this year. It was a nice relaxing Sunday.

I'm fairly certain it's going to be beef stew and corn bread.

We are having homemade sauce, meatballs, and homemade pasta. Jim is making a fresh loaf of bread too.
And a salad.

Made sausage, peppers and onions, on good rolls.

In with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio. All the doors and windows are open and a beautiful 83 degree breeze is blowing thru, I got my fill of baby smiles, NASCAR is on the TV. I cannot express how good life is.....WAHOO!!!
The only way it could be better is if Ann won that jackpot at the Ritz today.....just sayin.

Cheers! We ate after the baptism. We had salad, baked stuff chicken, garlic potatoes and mixed veggies. There was fish too. Everything was great. We can snack on leftover pizza and wings if we are hungry later.

Gin and tonic here tonight. Celebrating the adoption of six kittens today and one yesterday. :D One of our lead volunteers quit after some issues with "management". I referred to her as over exuberant to George but in my mind the crazy cat lady. The shelter was a big part of her life so I feel badly for her but I understand where they were coming from.

Penne and meatballs. Maybe a piece of caramel apple pie for dessert.

  Have any of you had your turn blue/green when cooking it? This last bulb of garlic does. Apparently, it's not uncommon - a chemical reaction but strange that it's never happened before.

Mrs Stouffer's salisbury steak and mac n cheese. One Corona with lime and now Lites.
