Wow, did I actually get to start the dinner thread :D

I have beef burgundy cooking away in a low oven for the past 3 hours, going to have with mashed swede (aka Rutabaga), followed by a couple tangerines

What's on your menu

Lamb koftas w/tzatziki and garlic sauces. To go with it I'm making a salad with cucumbers, red onion. roasted peppers, feta cheese and fresh mint(EVOO and lemon juice dressing).

Marinated pork tenderloin, scalloped potatoes and fresh spinach sauteed. Red is the beverage

Well I missed the morning thread by a mile! My husband is cooking a bolognese sauce using my homemade tomato sauce and linguica. Having it over pappardelle. Making a couple of pieces of garlic bread out of a loaf of olive ciabatta bread. Having a rum and coke while dinner is cooking. Cheers!

Chicken noodle soup, crackers with provolone. Having a few sips of milk. Cully got a supper treat of cooked burger meat with her blue diamond. She won't leave my side, may be a bit of an issue when we go to bed.

Cheers, y'all!

Shaggy, I'm so glad you had dinner with Cully tonight. Let her sleep with you if she wants. She missed you so much. I'm sure she's so happy to be home with you. I'm glad you two are back together.

Cully has been a champ thru all of the stuff of the past months. Her temperament has given her great patience with me. Both of us get a bit frustrated in that her learned voice commands are difficult for me to say clearly, e.g. Sit comes out like sithes. And the hand signals are a bit confusing for her as I can't quite do them the way we trained. We will both overcome however, she faster than me.

I am really grateful for having such a great companion!

I'm sure Cully will adapt and both of you will figure out the commands and hand signals together. You do have a great companion and you're both lucky to have each other. I think it's awesome that you have her with you at your temporary digs. Dogs are great for our health and I'm confident she'll be an asset in your recovery. Please keep telling us how you two are doing together. I love hearing about your progress. Best of luck to both of you.

I went to Pizza Hut with my sister Bonnie and my(our) friend Joanne, she had a gift card, her treat. They came back to my house where we had wine and snacks, called our sister in-law Deb, she walk over we (me) had more wine. Deb just walked home, Bonnie and Joanne left, Bonnie only had one glass, so she was fine to drive, glad I am home. Almost a PWI~

I agree.....so did Cully hog the bed  Sure sounds like you still have a lot of challenges ahead of you Shaggy. :( But you got this, weren't you just riding the rapids, bathing in frigid water and digging your own latrine
