Should at least be sunny...after some days of heavy rain.

Yes, Froggy, we used to know how to get to Lourdes grotto. Might be worth a short visit. Out of San Nicolaas, up a hill.
On a last visit more than 5 years ago, it looked like it had been badly neglected and some people were trying to restore.

Thanks JohnT

Good Morning! 50 degrees this morning, only going up to 60. Heading over to the Farmer's Market in Haile this morning. They have all kinds of funky stuff. Veg that I have never heard of, lots of stuff from goats.....and Tumeric soup. I will pass that all by and head straight for the muffins.

You're my kind of gal!

Good morning. Warm, dreary and windy this morning. I think I'll get my arse to the gym and try to get back into my routine. Gary's service is later this afternoon. :(

Good morning, Kelly we had the same as you yesterday & I also left work early to get home before the freezing rain hit. Got up this morning to about 4" of the white stuff but not sure what is underneath, John will find out when he clears the driveway.
Have a 3 day weekend as it's MKL day Monday. Plan to get work done on getting our taxes ready for CPA & also might do some recipe R&D. We are on the verge of opening an Etsy store but will start with just a couple of cookie types to make sure we don't overload, better to add cookies over time than all at once & not be able to fill orders

Have a great day :D

Good Morning!!! Heavy rain has ended, temps are high 50'sF now with howling winds but the deep freeze is coming this afternoon. If we get lucky the wind will dry up the roads before they turn to ice. Laundry and football are on today's agenda.
Stay safe and have a great Saturday everyone!!!

morning, slept pretty good but woke up with a slight headache. could have been the 3 raspberry vodka collins and the 1 vodka lemonade from last night (had to stop at a second bar on the way home) :D

sunny now, it was 54 at 6:30 and its 39 now.

froggy i went to the grotto years ago, could be 10. after trying to find it for years i found it by mistake driving around. was very pretty

both nephews have basketball games today and the second one is right near bjs so our day is pretty much set up.

have a good one all

You know I'm not sure . Our first trip in '92 we took a bus tour around the Island and I honestly can't remember all that we saw but do see it included in some of the tours so maybe  I don't rent a car and don't venture far now unless Judi takes me off the beaten path 8) Or unless Big Papa rents a house and invites us all over, hint, hint...

Where were we Judi? Ann, we all match

Good morning! Still sn*wpacked and icy here. Bus and Uber for me today. It's supposed to get above freezing tomorrow.

Shaggy, I was sorry to read about your supper last night. I hope Cully helped with the cleanup.

There are some good pics of you all in Arooba. Judi and Karen--who took that photo? It looks like two different house roofs?

I'll let Judi answer for the roofs but I'm thinking probably Ronnie took the pic and I stole from his daily posts.

Good Morning. 52 deg and raw. I was watching my neighbor's home 3 doors down being re-roofed. He had solar panels
from the beginning and leaks caused a lot of damage he was not aware of until recently. Costing him big $$$.
He is no longer a proponent of solar. Good wishes to all enjoying this Saturday!
