Having tacos here tonight and I’m about to pour a Wild Turkey. Heard some really bad new today. Mt cat house “boss”’s husband had a heart attack and passed away earlier today. Gary was 52. What a shock.

Oh my gosh, Laura. I'm so sorry. Life is too short, and I need to get a grip on the fact that it could end at any moment.

Dinner- Mom and I have a meeting at church at 7pm that always includes dessert, so I'm thinking I might ask if she wants to get a quick bite before.

What a shock indeed Laura, very sad. I had chicken tacos in the crock pot but the mixture was too rich (I looked for a recipe to use cream cheese that I didn't use at Christmas) so skipped the shell and just put it over lettuce and didn't add extras. I make try and rejig it into soup :? or add some peppers and celery and stuff. Day 8 on the wagon.....

Such sad news Laura. :( We are having pork tenderloin, potatoes and broccoli tonight. Maryann, you'll have to try grilled cauliflower steaks - so good.

Very sad news Laura.

Got ya beat by 120 days or so, Karen

Spent a bit of time outside with Cully. Not warm, but tolerable for a short while. Feeling a bit rough, so no supper. Will sip some water, tho. Thinking an early bedtime is on the horizon.

Sorry about Gary Laura. Raising my New Belgium Fat Tire to him.

Also raising it to my new windshield. Had to get it replaced today. YAY!

Dinner will be leftovers...spags/white clam sauce from Sunday and pizza/wings from last night.

Tonight's chef cooked some flounder filets in a can of creamed crab soup. Served over brown rice. Also some peas.
Kudos to Karen and Shaggy "on the wagon".

Shaggy I do hoe you feel better tomorrow...so glad you got out for a bit....fresh air is good. Laura, so sorry about Gary....another reminder (though we don't need any more!)
to stop fretting about the small stuff and find joy in each day. The pile of snow in front of our condo is as high as it has ever been  ....with Friday's rain we likely will have waterfront property  Sleep well friends!
