The canal would be frozen but the guy across the way runs a pump to keep the water moving near the boats.

WOW!
Who was it in the swamp... I remember something about not taking down the Christmas decor until after the first good snow - or something like that. Was it Wanda's Bob?

Only rain here, the wind is a major concern; at this point I still have power. Stay safe everyone.

We are snowed out, our flight for tomorrow is canceled not sure yet when getting out. I don’t care when we get out but Karen’s concerned about running out of vacation time, can’t wait for her to be retired.

No power here for a couple of hours. :( We saw Eversource trucks turn around in our development but not sure if there are still close by or not. Moved the baby into our room. We have a portable heater and a generator ready to go but hopefully we will be back up soon.

Oh no!!!
Hope your power is back quickly!
Between the baby and MIke (retired right?) you may get priority from the power company.

He is retired yes. I guess a transformer is out and they are working on it. It's gone from 2067 out down to 1375 now. People on a local Facebook page said they were told by 11:30pm. One of those already has it back so hopefully soon.

Sorry y'all are having to deal with this storm. Hope you can get out soon, Tom! Trust that those crews will get the power back on soon, Pat. Glad you still have power, Karen. Good luck moving snow around Linda. Laura, it looks like a good day for a cruise down the canal!

Stay safe and warm!
