Good Morning!!! 29°F with white stuff starting to fall this morning. We are hoping that we keep our power on through this storm. Everything we have is fully charged so we are as ready as we can be. We have plenty of bread, milk, beer and wine and lots of warm clothes if we have to do some indoor camping.
Stay safe everyone and have a great Thursday!!!

Good morning everyone. Stay safe out there. Kat, glad Jim got to stay home. Here's to hoping that preparing for the worst means the worst doesn't happen!

Good morning. Sn@wing sideways here.
Hunkered down, waiting for the storm to really hit. Wood stove is cranking.....if we loose power, at least we will be warm.
I ordered the book, "The Couple Next Door" that Ann recommended. It came in yesterday. Decided to crack it open last night....wow. Can't wait to continue reading it today.
Judi....I'd seek out a second opinion.
Stay warm and safe everyone.

I just rolled out of bed. Grayson has arrived. Wind is blowing like an SOB and it's snowing. I'm glad I don't have to go out to work. My brother (NYPD) usually has to go. Probably walked to the train station to get an early train out. He works at One Police Plaza, Lower Manhattan.

Good morning all. I brought my laptop home last night so I could work at home today. We're supposed to get over a foot here with wind gusts up to 60 mph here on the shore. Our pellet stove is cranking and the generator is ready if needed. We have the local news on in the other room and I just heard them say the average speed on 95 between Groton and New Haven is 36. Be careful if you venture out in this storm.

Wow y'all. Be careful out there. Yes - Kat - thanks for the LOL.
Cold here, but nothing like you guys are experiencing, I guess.

I've walked, showered, and put a few things away. I'm taking mom to her doc appt soon, which might mean lunch w/ TJ (same town). Mike will be home tonight. I'm dreading him travelling during the winter.

Have a good one. Stay warm.

Good morning, a balmy 15 this morning with very light flurries. Looks like we will miss the storm which those of you further east are getting but we are scheduled to have wind chills tomorrow of about -20
Stay safe anyone in the path of the storm.

Good Morning

Took down Christmas decorations yesterday. Weeks earlier then usual. Tree was down last Thurs, thanks to Ashley's help. Up early to clean thru both levels before showering and having breakfast. Now snug as a bug, nestled in front of the fireplace with my computer and tv, as the storm/blizzard intensifies.

Thoughts and prayers are with those in need.
