Good morning! Cold as in frigid and bitter. My sister in-law and her husband stayed here last night. His mother is who I visited at the nursing home yesterday and she died. Rest in peace

We will go visit the brother in-law after while...

May she rest in peace. She may have been waiting for their visit before passing.

Good morning everyone. Just relaxing today and of course football.

Tara, sorry about your SIL's husbands mother.

It is -6 wind chill today, was thinking about a run today but not going to with that wind chill

Ingrid I will be doing pretty much the same as you with the exception I will be taking the tree down. I like to start the new year with a tidy house.

We don't go anywhere NYE, too many drunks on the roads plus we haven't seen midnight in a few years. I used to try & stay up but always fall asleep so don't fight it now

Have a great last day of the year & looking forward to an amazing 2018!

Good morning. Sorry for your loss Tara. I didn't get out of my jammies yesterday, but I don't think I can do that again today. It's 16* and windy now, but the sun is shining. I'm sure we'll be watching the crazies tonight at Times Square - I cannot imagine standing out there for hours in this kind of weather.

Good morning.

Sorry for your losses Kelly and Tara. :(

My BIL and sister are being honored at the Patriots game today for their charitable work for the homeless in their town, as well as growing what they do into many of the towns down on Cape Cod over the past 16 years. They were sent four tickets to todays game (taking their very good friends who have been instrumental in this program as well). They have a "meet and greet" with Patriots players scheduled (and my sister is hoping to see TB there). I think they are one of 11 other individuals or organizations being honored at half time today, and unfortunately I don't think they televise half-time proceedings so we will miss seeing them. With this cold, I do hope they are in a box to watch the game vs. out in seats, but I know they are humbled by being there today as well as excited as can be. And will be dressed very warmly. We are very proud of them.

Wishing all a warm, peaceful and relaxing last day of 2017.

Good Morning!
Slept in and skipped church. This sleeping 12 hrs a day is getting crazy. Gotta get back on a schedule.
Kelly & Tara, so sorry for your losses.
Linda, so cool about your Sis and BIL, that is awesome. I hope they take lots of pics and have a very memorable day.
I am taking Lilly dress shopping. She was invited to a very fancy Bat Mitzvah and is very excited to be invited (surprised really, as the girl is really popular and she thinks the parents made her invite Lilly) She is hesitant to go, as she will have no one to hang out with. I told her we would go buy a new dress and some essential oils for her anxiety (she got a diffuser for Christmas) and see if that helps a little. Should be a fun girly day checking out the post-christmas sales at the big department stores. Ken has a January birthday so maybe see if we can find him some birthday gifts.
Wishing everyone a great day! Happy New Year!

Happy NYE all! Watching a great Pats game wrapped in a blanket on the couch with the pellet stove cranking. Oh so comfortable! Linda, congrats to your sister and BIL for being so generous to the homeless and being rewarded with tickets to the game today. I read where the Patriots suggested people bring blankets to the game to keep warm and then leave the blankets in containers they'll leave out after the game to donate to the homeless. The Patriots will then clean all of them and donate to area shelters. Perfect idea.
