Good morning all.

Safe travels to Linda, Pammy and John today - have a wonderful time!

Carolina, my heart broke reading your post yesterday. It's incredibly hard being the anchor for and dealing with two different generations, both with their own set of "issues". And it's sad to see our parents get old.(((hugs)))

Sending happy, healthy wishes to all this morning. Have a nice day!

Amen to that!! Have a wonderful time on One Happy Island Pamela, John and Linda. Maybe I'll take George out for an "airing out" today. Have a good day my friends.

Good morning! Red flag warning today. O joy. Pammy and Linda, I can hardly wait for you to get there and enjoy.

Kristin, I am so sorry for you and especially Steve. I hope all goes well and the day comes when he can have the port removed.

Carolina, so sad for your Dad and the rest of the family. Especially your Mom. :(

Good morning everyone. Pammy, John and Linda have a wonderful and relaxing time in Aruba. Carolina thought and prayers for you and your family. Mary prayers for Harrison's grandmother, I pray that she has a wonderful and caring team of doctors and staff, it makes things a little easier.

Steve is fine and we don't know what the dr. saw or thinks he saw. His face was fine. I didn't know about this until the next morning because Steve knew if I was told I wouldn't sleep. With most things, I can't stay because of covid and hospital is one. Some test will allow you to stay in the waiting room while others won't. The good thing that came out of this is that we know the cancer hasn't spread to the brain like they thought and no stroke and that his artery is clear. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers and letting me ramble on.

Prayers for all in need.

Good Morning!
Thank you all for the kind words. My dad called me during my tennis match.....as soon as I got off the court, I called him back, he said it was an accident, he meant to call my mom to find her? oh, he has to go....he has a Dr apt at the skin dr....I said dad, we talked about this earlier this morning, you apt is in 2 weeks...he was determined, I know not to argue so I politely asked if I could talk to my mom....she had no idea I had talked to him earlier? she was put out bc she had to get up, dressed, eat, ready to walk out the door, did not believe me about the apt, as Dad was so sure. I gave her the Dr #...she called me back to thank me from saving them from going...I was on the opposite side of town, but said, hey, your up and ready and I'm in the car, let me sneak y'all out of the home for an "apt" and we'll go have lunch. I just needed to check in on things in person. Yuck! This is going downhill fast. My mom is frustrated and does not talk easily about my dad, she protects him. So, I will talk with my siblings and see what the next steps are.
Tennis again today, having dinner at a neighbor's tonight that have the new hot tub, yippee!
Wishing safe travels to Linda and Pammy/John! Can't wait to see pics from y'all!
Mary, praying for you grandma-inlaw.
Judi, praying for y'all.
Have a great day!

Good morning - too busy at work to check in earlier.

Same routine - groceries tonight. Then I'm stopping at our town police department to turn in my pistol permit application and have my fingerprints done. Hope they don't keep me.

Wishing you safe travels and fantastic vacations, Linda, Pammy and John! Thoughts are with Steve, Harrison's grandma, Carolina and her parents.

I think when I first heard the term "sandwich generation", we were in the middle. Dealing with kids and parents.
Now we are the ones who look for help on occasion. Luckily, Sandy's son and DIL are nearby for the last 5+ years. They are good to us. I'm not Dad, but I am proud to refer to him as "our son".
My best wish is for those who need more help than we do...that they can find it. Carolina, Steve and Jude, Harrison's gMom...so many more.
Hope this make sense.

Good Morning. I was up early this morning for a Costco run. There were very few of us old timers there so it was an easy, quick trip. It's drizzling out now but I'm hoping it clears up after lunch so we can get outside for a walk.
Safe travels to those island bound.
Thoughts and prayers for so many dealing with health issues.
Have a great Thursday everyone and stay safe.
