Okay monkeys, I just launched our website :) If I could ask that a few of you take a look & give me any feedback, marketing isn’t my strong suit so any help appreciated. There is currently no inventory on purpose as I want to give a few days for any adjustment before that.

The site is Barlowbakes.com

Thanks :D

They are a chocolate peanut butter sandwich, chocolate shortbread sandwiched together with a whipped PB filling then dipped in Belgian milk chocolate. We don’t usual ship those due to melting, although they have been hand carried to Ar@ba for monkeys

Pammy,

You've done great with this! Did you set everything up yourself? Amazing! I'm proud of you.

The only suggestion I have is the following: Those pictures are already tempting my taste buds just looking at them. But, if I saw a romanticized description of the ingredients or a short story about them or maybe some tasting notes, I'd probably drool all over my recliner.

For Example: MAPLE PECAN SHORTBREAD: While touring Scotland, a local suggested we try an original Scottish delicacy known as shortbread. It was DELICIOUS! I was hooked and spent years perfecting the recipe. The result is an authentic, crunchy, crumbly, buttery, rich, flavorful shortbread in the original Scottish tradition, but with a little North American twist. We've chosen the finest maple sugar and syrup from a local maple farm, and genuine fresh pecans grown in Georgia. The result is a sweet yet savory treat that can be enjoyed with your morning coffee or your afternoon tea. They're even hearty enough to serve as a casual dessert for dinner/supper/evening meal. For a real treat, try them heated!

I'm not suggesting you lie if you haven't toured Scotland or gotten pecans from Georgia. But was just giving an example of romanticizing it for the customer.

Congratulations! Coming from someone who has mostly beige walls in the house, I thought maybe a little more color would add some pizazz to the site, but not sure how you would do that. Other than that, it looks great.

Yum. I would add to the description the dimensions of each treat.

Yummy! The cookies look amazing. I am with Don on this one. I have a marketing degree and I am wanting to see a description that makes my mouth water. Don't you have a background from the UK? I would add that to your shortbread and or back story as well. Feel free to bounce anything off of us/me. We are here for you and can't wait to see how amazing your business is going to be!
