Went to Mass this evening....good news is the roads are dry....bad news is the temps are cold and with the wind it feels frigid! Have a pot roast and fixings in the crock pot...smells good! In with red....cheers and stay warm!

Just got back from Gary's wake and feel so bad for my friend :( I'm having some Wild Turkey and heating up meatballs and sauce for dinner.

Cooked up some rib eye steaks, green beans and a few done over potatoes. There was a glass of Pinot Grigio.....the next one will be served while in the Jacuzzi. Damn, life is soooooo good.

I made chicken, broccoli alfredo pasta. Our 17 year old granddaughter is visiting to get some driving practice in and we got bumped for supper. She is down hanging out with her 87 year old great grandparents - such an awesome kid. :D

I did my "famous" baby back ribs with Manwich Sandwich BOLD in the slow cooker today. Just started my HH with a Corona Extra.... but I'm ready!

Not exactly how she did it...but concocted some thin-slice roast pork loin from a previous meal, added some potatoes and sauerkraut. Sort of a stove-top version of what we might do with baking some pork chops in the same kind of dish. Anyway, it was delish.
I'm the only one imbibing with some pinot noir.

Casual night w/ the neighbors. I'd picked up a couple of Sam's Club deli pizzas, but then good friends/neighbors called. So we took a pizza over there to add to their burgers and wings - chips/veggies - easy casual dinner w/ friends.

Sat night broke out the pressure cooker and made a nice batch of short ribs to use up carrots. Mashed sides. Ribs were
super meaty.
