Bryanzs or anyone else in Aruba. What does the tourism situation look like? In other words, approximately how many people are going to Aruba. I'm just curious. I have been going for over 30 yrs. and I am still riding the fence on going to my TS in November. :?

Bryanzs is usually posting the number of people tested at the airport.
If that's the people coming in, you know that number is a shadow of what it used to be.

Tourism in FL is bad too. But, as of yesterday, we have all bars and restaurants open at 100% capacity.
I think I know the outcome of that move, but I will be pleasantly surprised if it's not what I expect.

Most of the hotels are reporting occupancy rates of about 20%. Time shares are a bit higher, maybe 30-35%, the last I heard.

Presumably the number being tested at the airport excludes all the people who have submitted their PCR test online before flying to Aruba.

That said, my resort does not sound as though it has more than 25% occupancy.

Our September timeshares went vacant. They said their occupancy was 35-40%. It is a shame, but not knowing the status on the island until late July, we did not try to rent them.
I hope next September will be different, but from my limited scope, it seems just slightly more hopeful.
