Ling's has changed owenership. Not closing!!! Right now they are totally renovating the store...new food cases and shelves. It appears to me they are working all day every day to get it back to 'normal' as quickly as possible. Yesterday they were handing out new floor plans as locations of items has changed  . No closure....just renovating!

I went to the Ling & Sons site and it indicates that the road leading to the market (Schotlandstraat and Caya Pos Abou) will be partially closed for the construction of the new roundabout across from Ling & Sons. Does anyone know if the road is closed at this time?

Thanks.

Claire

Yes the road at the "T" is closed. At the lights on the boulevard there are arrows and barrels creating directions to enter through the lower parking lot.

If anyone can get their hands on a floor plan and post to the BB that would be awesome. Ling's is my favorite!

What a great idea! I second that. It would be so nice and I would so appreciate seeing the floor plan before going in April.

When I asked one of the workers in Ling's if they had floor plans of what the layout would be when the renovation was finished, they looked at me like I was craazy  With everything still under construction there, I don't think they know where everything is ...

Supermarkets have floor plans and make them available to shoppers.

Any of you have or have seen a floor plan for your local supermarket.

You could just look up at the end of the aisle and see what's in that aisle.

Maybe some of you should work on a GPS for Ling's. Something like.

"make a left at the creamed corn and proceed straight towards the potato chips, your destination the baked beans will be on your left". "You have arrived at your baked beans navigation will stop".

Go to far and hear "when you can make a u-turn by the pickles and proceed on the designated aisle" "be aware of shopping carts".

Just Visited Yesterday, they still aren’t done with Reno, though close. Been going on my entire 17 day visit.

I believe that the owners of Super Food bought Ling's.
