Really appreciate Cynthia’s restaurant reviews. But.... Sidebar is no longer there. They didn’t survive. Too bad, as I really liked their food now and then.

We were just in that area a few days ago and it was sad to see the old Sidebar location empty. We also enjoyed a few meals there. Too bad they didn't survive.

It was great when they first opened! For at least a year we ate there frquently and took houseguests. Then they changed the menu just enough to make it not a regular 'go to' place. :( Must have impacted others also as it would look empty when we went by at various times of the day.

Well, I am bummed. I had no idea it had closed. We were there last May and would have liked to go back. I did wonder why it wasn't busy. But then a lot of the restaurants weren't busy, except for Dutch Pancakes. Thanks for posting this.

In Cynthia's first review posted of Casa Tua, she mentions that they were there last May. We were in Aruba last September & Side bar was closed.

Renaissance is now using that space for a pop-up restaurant on St Pats Weekend. Corned beef and cabbage anyone? Aruba style.
