We have been 18 times over the years but have never stayed during Christmas! Staying at LaCabana for 2 weeks any Christmas events happening on the Island?

We have been to Aruba 11 times in a row each winter and went 3 years in a row at Xmass starting 2011, but stopped because everything was soooo busy. We arrived our first Xmass and did our usual and walked Palm beach area expecting to just pick a place and pop in for dinner. We ended up eating at the burger joint at the end of the strip because we could not get a table anytime between 7:30 and 9. Make restaurant reservations now if you haven't already.

Most of the hotels put on special dinners and shows. If you are there through New Years the firecrackers all day and the fireworks at nidnight are all over and better show than I have seen in my home town for New Years or the 4th of July. Have fun!!!

We have been coming to Aruba Christmas and New Years for about 20 years it's not that busy Christmas week but New Years can be hectic . It used to be that you needed to make dinner reservations before you come to Aruba but there more and more restaurants so it's less of a problem . Car rentals can be tough, book early . The beach and pool is different from hotel to hotel with some being nice and quiet with a never a problem getting a spot to fist fights for spots at other hotels . The fireworks are a lot of fun . Hope this helps !

Venture down to the Renaissance Marketplace
They’ve set up a Christmas Village, shops, ice rink and entertainment on their stage. Really cute. Grab dinner there, or ice cream.
