One of the fools (previously from 2 fools and a bull) started a boat charter. Not much details about the food. Prices depend on # of people: $200 per person for two, $175 pp for four, and $150 pp for six. Starts at Moomba beach at 11:30 and drop off is around 4:00.

i'd be the fool if I spent $200 to go on that boat, especially with a guy who seems to be fool of himself.

HOLY S--T!

This is a joke right?

The picture of the boat. Is that the boat that takes you to the real boat. It can not be the boat he is describing.

So you get a hot dog some sliders and wine as you tour the dump.

No people with special needs allowed, only the women can tan and the guys fish.

Can any of you see a reason to do this regardless of the price.

Only thing I see is in a few weeks a FOR SALE sign on the boat

Just think of all the people who paid big $$$ to have the dinner before......my money says someone will pay up for a beer and a hot dog (with grey poupon of course).

Thought it was too much $$$ from what the description read. But I guess if they have the same kind of food served at 2 Fools & a Bull, that could be the reason for the high price - "starting up the barbecue" was too vague of a description.

Another tour boat started up recently that has reasonable prices - the Black Lady

Sailboat looks similar to the Monforte (was $130 for the dinner cruise), which we did this past September

Different cruises offered are:

Morning $64 - includes lunch & open bar
Afternoon $47 - includes snacks and open bar
Sunset $38 - includes snacks & open bar
Sunset Dinner $64 - includes dinner and open bar

....or.... I could just go to the beach.

$200 will get me 2 nice dinners out.

This doesn't sound at all appealing to me but maybe it will work for others. And, small boats on the ocean? I wouldn't need any food at all ...

The "meal" is a hotdog???

I'd rather go to Scotts Brats and get a Chicago style dog for $5.00

While this is not something that I would be interested in, or anyone else here for that matter it will be interesting to see how he makes out. This is a pretty low overhead operation so he would only need to do a few trips a week to be successful, or at least profitable. Given the high number of tourists, I think he might do pretty well for himself.

I think I will save my money for Chalet Suisse, Barefoot and New Wei Taai Chinese restaurant. At $175 a person that is a lot of hot dogs. No Thank you

Come on now folks. Let's be fair.

I believe he does mention "sliders". That would round out the gourmet menu worth all that money.

Here's the description that I didn't notice when I first checked the site:

Included on this trip is beer water and wine, no hard liquor, no booze cruise!
Little sliders of sandwiches, wraps and nibble snacks. A Foolish Hot Dog from the BBQ. All you have to bring is a towel a hat and a smile.

Doesn't look like they'll serve any Tito's for AJ.

Those refreshments don't warrant a price of $200 per person - I guess the main appeal must be that it's a small private affair. I didn't see it advertised in the tourist newspaper - wonder how he's getting the word out.

So I guess I am just too rational and objective. For all the wee boo birds on this board...

1. Why would you knock a product you haven't even tried.
2. Why the near total focus on food...gotta stuff those faces with $200 of food and beer and get that value for money. oink oink.
3. Ever gassed up a boat? Running a boat for 4-5 hours of even modest size costs north of $100, especially at Aruba marina prices.
4. Why don't you live a little, spend a little of the grandchild inheritance, try it then make first hand educated comments. Maybe you'll hate it, maybe not. But at least your reviews will be worth the time it takes to read them.

Such negativity in so many people is sad to see.
