Is there a list of EBS’ in Aruba?

Generally Dan and I have dinner around 8pm. As we’re in Aruba 3 weeks we know that there will be days when we’ll get off the beach earlier. In the past we’ve enjoyed EBs at Papillon especially if we had a commitment for something later at night. We would like to have some more places in our ‘pocket’.

Have taken note re: Twist of Flavors and Barney’s and searched other suggestions on this site. TripAdvisor forums had old information so not useful. Have also checked Arubakid’s site. Any other suggestions for a centralized list?

Thanks!

Hang in the lobby of the place you are staying and around 4:15 follow old people as they leave. They will lead you to the early bird specials.

Only ones I can think of that I know for sure since I've seen the ads so many times are Chalet Suisse, Fishes & More, and The Chophouse.

No early bird specials but Maroc has some great daily specials in addition to their Chef's Surprise Platter (which is a steal at $25 and enough food for 2 people.)

Loved Maroc when we tried it last year. Had cocktails with Hans and a bottle of wine with our special ‘italian’ tapas (yum) and of course our bill came to $120 w/o tip. Liquor will do that to a tab. LOL.

We've been there a few times now and it's our favorite "cheaper" meal (not counting alcohol.)

Le Petite Café in 2014 had an early bird special. I have not been since then. You also can get coupons out of the newspapers for discounts, free drink or desserts for many restaurants.

Joey, I will definitely follow you to place of choice.

Add to the list, Argentinian Grill (Tangos), Moombas, Sole Mare

Just naming places with Early Bird Specials without giving prices. What's the point?

Joey, point well taken. However, several of the restaurants have multiple entrees for "Early Bird" with a different price for each. Argentinian Grill's is $22.95. Sole Mare I believe has 2 different entrees with one being around $30. Moomba"s has about 5 or 6 entrees to choose from. Daniels has 3 choices with a tenderloin skewer in the $32 range. One other point to consider is the coupons in the books for a glass of wine, 10% off, etc. are usually not valid when ordering an "Early Bird". There's also the AUCE specials such as the ones at Barney's depending on the day of week.

For me, it's good to know who has an "Early Bird". If it's something I like, fine. If not, I'll get something else.

casadelmar, point well taken. However the original question was about who has Early Bird Specials not what they serve. At least you gave prices.

Las Ramblas also has a late bird special - it's $35.00 after 8:30 PM

Late Bird menu has selection of 4 appetizers, 4 entrees (including catch of the day), and Crème Brulee for dessert
