I made my attempt at a trip report 6/27 to 7/8. I hope someone enjoys it.

Thank you....very enjoyable and informative. Loved how you 'mixed it up' when it came to lodging! :D

Enjoyed the read, thanks. Glad you enjoyed CLBR and Waters Edge. Been going there since it opened. Used to stay at the Divi.
Again thank you

I do not want to start something here but "no TP" and you said it was not a problem. Can I ask you delicately what you did? I have encountered this situation before in Aruba but I always had tissues.

There was an infamous thread years ago regarding this issue but to the best of my recollection it did not involve hotels or B&B type establishments, only restaurants.

Thank you for your trip report, I enjoyed it!

Just meant no T.P. to be put in the toilet, there was a covered container next to the toilet that you put it in and it was emptied daily.

  I'm glad Bishop clarified that for you, Tina. :-)

Thanks for the report. I've stayed at both 'before and after' places to extend our stay. I like both for only a few days - not an entire stay. Hubby loved Coral Reef last fall. It was just okay for me. I liked the peace and quiet and I liked being on that side of the island for a short amount of time. I didn't like that the mgmt wanted us to turn off AC when we weren't in the room. I understand the point, but when I'm on vacation, I like to return to a cool room. The tp issue was a little hard to remember. The unit we stayed in had 0 electrical outlets near a mirror. I like to see my hair when I'm trying to get ready for dinner out.

Thanks again.

thanks for posting. thought about staying at coral reef but I know I couldn't deal with the TP issue. Last year i stayed at modern hotel for a few nights and they don't have outlets in their bathroom either.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us Tony. I understand the TP issue now and have seen that at other places that don't have proper sewage in the area. As much as I would love the tranquility, I don't think Coral Reef would work for me. I could possibly do it for a day. These are why these trip reports are so helpful. I am glad you enjoyed your stay though at the different locations.
