Arrived on time, Jet Blue out of FLL, us and everyone else. Snaking line upstairs even before going down to the serious immigration. Amazingly it only took 15-20 minutes, wham, bam, out of there. The automated passport scanners really cut the time down. Tropic right there as usual, thanks Hans, off to PBV. Decided to brave Super Foods on a Sat, construction on the roundabouts made a horrible traffic situation, snuck in the back way so not too bad, wouldn't do it again, there has to be a better way to get staples with a Sat arrival. Dinner at Las Ramblas, service great, food ok, prices ok, flies a pia landing on the food every two seconds. to be continued....

Staying at Paradise Beach Villas in October for the first time. I would appreciate any information about the location, rooms, restaurants, etc.

I'm not sure what you mean by "location" it's next door to La Cabana but look up restaurant reviews here for Terrazza Italiana and Asi es mi Peru, both are incredible. The rooms are nice and I think most or all have been redone recently. Our unit has always been fresh and somewhat upscale as compared to other places we have exchanged into on island. Your user name suggests that you know Aruba so I'm not sure what information you need, if you have a unit# I'll gladly tell you where it is and give an opinion.

Almost had me. I see your idea of a "quickie" is a LOT different from mine.

Remember at your advanced age ( ) taking your time leads to forgetting what they had started and then falling asleep.
