It appears Southwest has discontinued its non-stop flights from Orlando to Aruba. Are there any other non-stop options from Orlando?

Orlando is the closest airport for us. Yes SW stopped early March the non stop flights. SW goes from Orlando to Ft Lauderdale to Aruba. (If you own a Fri/Fri timeshare or need to return on a Friday you will be surprised that the route leaving Orlando on a Friday is NOT the same when returning from Aruba to Orlando. (Have to go to BWI from Aruba to get to Orlando and end up with a very long travel day)

I don't think there are any other airlines with non stops from Orlando.

We are switching to AA which goes through Miami (not our favorite) but we can at least get Fri/Fri flights with no issues like with SW now.

We have flown AA through Miami several times. Actually our flight of choice. Never an issue. MUCH better than JFK or Newark!!!

It has been so long since we have used AA for Aruba. Since we have to connect now anyway the AA flights fit our Fri/Fri timeshare dates and our schedule much better so hopefully it will be just fine also.

Those still using SW and connecting in FLL as I said it is a very nice terminal. If they bring back a Friday flight leaving Aruba to FLL to MCO then we will fly with them again.

so bummed that SW cut back on their aruba schedule. I used to fly everyday from Providence to BWI or Providence to Orlando to Aruba now only doing it on the weekends.

Alas, Anthony, I see it is once a week from Sanford...leaving on Tuesdays, coming back on Mondays. Not much help for Patsfan or us (Saturday to Saturday people). We're trying Orlando (MCO)-FLT-AUA on Southwest this year, but not looking forward to it or the longer travel day. Boo-hiss Southwest!

We are Fri/Fri people---as I mentioned above....going out is fine (even though it is super early to leave the house) it's the coming back on a Friday that makes it a terribly long travel day not having FLL to connect with and need to do BWI and pay more to do so.

Hoping down the road SW makes some changes for those of us who are no longer using them.
