Yesterday they were collecting the printouts but as previously stated, not looking at them. If you did not have something to hand them, you got a mild reprimand and were sent to scan your passport. They should have some history by now as we have done the ED Card several times!

In Feb they asked me for my Print out..I don't know what they did with it..BUT I was glad I had it..Eventually they will not give out cards on the plane and you will have to fill it out on-line.I think when that happens..if you don't have anything to hand them..you might be singled out for whatever reason..It takes a few minutes to do it on line..I don't understand the OPPOSITION to this..

I have always just told them I did it on-line. Even though I print out my receipt and bring it with me, they have never asked for it. I do miss getting my passport stamped...

Funny this thread is revisited.

In getting ready for the recent trip to Curaaco that I wrote about I received an email from the travel agent that I should ED before I got to Curacao. I went on line it took just a few seconds and glad I did.

On the JetBlue flight down they handed out the usual form but I didn't fill it out. When I arrived in Curacao I showed and gave the customs agent the ED form and they directed me to the do it yourself gates like they have in Aruba. The airport arrival area is not as large as the one in Aruba and they only have a few do it yourself gates.

On the way out of Curacao there was a special line marked for ED people.

My last trip to Aruba was December so maybe things have changed but Aruba just lets anyone use the do it yourself gates. If Aruba hasn't changed then they should if they want people to use ED. It should be a reward for those who plan ahead and ED.

I don't get why this is even a issue? Just did ours and it took about 1 minute per person. IMO, if the line is very long, they seem to not ask for the form. If it is short, I have seen people moved from line and told to fill out form. Why take the chance?
