We took full advantage of our one day jeep rental by getting up early and going to the lighthouse for sunrise. We left at 6:15 from Eagle beach and took a left turn right before the lighthouse and then we drove near the golf course. From there it was a short, but rocky walk to the water. It was very beautiful and so peaceful and romantic because we were the only ones there! A must Do in Aruba!,

I have done this several times....early riser. There have only been a couple times when there were no clouds so I saw the sun come right out of the sea. The last time I dragged my sleepy honey there and there was very little wind at the lighthouse. We were attacked by tons of biting flies and ended up watching the sunrise from the car. It was cloudy too. It might be hard to get her up there again.

That is indeed a great idea. Though Aruba's best sunrise point you should try next time is at the eastern tip, at Colorado Point on the hill.

I will make you a deal. You get my wife to go all the way down there at that hour of the am and I will buy breakfast at a spot of your choice in San Nick........

My bestest place for sunrise is in my bed with the curtains closed.
