I have read a review about Renaissance island recently. She stated that the entrance to the water was covered with lot of rocks. I had never heard anyone mention this. Is it true? Has anyone been there and know for sure?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've only been to the adult side, and there is a lot of coral in spots . About 2/3 's of the way to the far side of when you first enter was almost sandy to enter the water this past December. Mostly anywhere on that side, once you get past the first 5-6 ft, the coral is not bad at all.

In August there was a ton of coral on the adult side and it made entering and exiting very painful. I have read on different sights that it had been cleaned up, but I’m not sure.

When I was there in early December there were coral by the entrance to the water on the family side. It was better getting in closer to the restaurant.
