Hi Tony,

I'm sure that you'll have a great time. I'm an owner at PBV, just in the past 6 years, and have stayed there 5 times to date.

Wifi was good during our stays. Free wifi in the lobby, paid wifi otherwise but I felt the price was reasonable.

Beach facilities are great. There are a good number of palapas BUT as with nearly every resort on the island you will need to get to the beach fairly early. By 9:30 a.m. there may still be one or two in the back row. People do leave throughout the day so there's nearly always a chance to get one if you're patient. When I don't have a beach palapa I just grab a palapa by the pool and go to the beach from there; it's only a short distance. There are lots of palapas around the pool deck and I've never had trouble finding a vacant one at any time of day.

The tiki bar had a renovation in the last few months (as did the lobby). I've always enjoyed it, happy hour is good, and usually there is karaoke 2 or 3 times a week.

There are a couple of nice restaurants right on the property. A peruvian restaurant was opening last January just as I was departing for home, and Terrazza Italiana (phase II building) has a really nice view of Eagle Beach at Sunset.

Enjoy your visit!

The food at Terrazza Italiana is outstanding!! Ate there twice during our recent visit. Mimma (the owner and chef) never fails to offer great food! Highly recommend!
