Hi All Just wondering how long you stay in Aruba. When I was working our normal stay was 1 week. Now we get to stay longer. How long for you and what do you think is the perfect length of stay?

We've been anywhere from 5-10 days using vacation time with kids at home. Now that the 6'4" baby is graduating this spring, I can see 10-14 days being nice, but with him/them still at home, I'd say 8 was this mama's limit. We are taking both sons with us this summer for 6 nights.

We bought weeks 36 & 37 at CLBR back in 2006. One of our favorite restaurants (Chalet Suisse) is usually on vacation during our 2 timeshare weeks, so we started renting a 3rd week (usually at CLBR, but a couple of times at Casa Del Mar). Only bummer about renting that 3rd week, is that it was always in another room - so we had to pack all our stuff, wait for the room to be ready, move to the new room & unpack, which wasted a good chunk of the day - it was even worse when we rented that 3rd week at another resort.
I was always checking the CLBR site and the sales / rental board when we were at CLBR to see if week 38 was for sale in the room we had. Noticed that it was posted for sale in October and we purchased it - so now have 3 weeks in same room - no more "moving day".

We usually stay anywhere from 10 - 17 days. We have found that 12-14 is about right for us. We usually go twice a year.

We started going 10 years ago with a week. Then 10 days. Then keep staying longer each year. Leaving in less than 2 weeks for 18 days this year!!! Can't wait o get out of this northeast ice box.

own 2 weeks but started adding on due to friday airfare being so high. usually go wed/thurs but last year went on tuesday. 16 or 17 days is nice but i was never ready to leave. 18 days seems to be the magic number for me. unfortunately the owner of the company i work for said i was gone too long and wants to limit vacations to 2 weeks. have to fight that out for this year.

At one time we owned 9 weeks 5 of them at Costa Linda our favorite. We would stay 6-8 weeks a year,6 in spring and 2 in the fall. Now we only go for 4 weeks in the spring, renting out the rest. I would now like to go only 3 weeks at Costa Linda in spring, we moved to Florida and love it here more.

Remember 1week is only 5 days that is why we started taken 10 days.No one realizes they need a vacation until they are on vacation

Usually a week but try to add a day or two extra if we can. We both full time or we’d stay a whole lot longer. Some day...!
