Good news for the folks in the northeast. Aruba Airlines is looking to fly either to Newark or JFK sometime in 2018. Aruba's national carrier already services Miami in the US. More information will follow in the course of next year. Soon you can experience Aruba the minute you are in the plane from your departing airport in New York.

Tell them, they would make a great impact to fly out of Logan Airport, Boston.

I couldn't find much information about them. Are they a budget airline? A high-end one? Or middle of the road. It would be nice to have them as an option out of JFK but given their limited fleet size that could be a problem. But it would be fun to have a Balashi on the way down there. :D

My vote goes for Logan as well. SOME competition would be nice. I wonder why American stopped its direct flights? They were always full. I am pretty sure American has some Airbus 320s with the range.

If United is you main choice I feel for you. Been burnt twice by United....if they paid me to fly their airline I likely would say no! (and skip the polite "no thank you")

No they are not a budget carrier. It is Aruba's national carrier. They even serve free drinks and snacks on their short routes to Bonaire and Curacao.

United is the ONLY choice to fly non-stop from Newark.

I feel very sorry for you! I still would not spend money on that airline..a connection is minor compared to the two issues we experienced.

I remember a United flight when the 2 male stewards went up and down the aisle saying "This is not an airline. It is a mode of transportation."
Let me add American to the ones to avoid.

Ditto on American Airlines - we stopped flying AA as soon as Jet Blue started flights out of NY

I fly United from Newark all the time, never had a single issue or problem.
