Should I book now for September, or wait?? AA has a good itinerary out of Detroit. Seems a little high at $635 per person. Please help me make up my mind!!!!

Thanks Don

I'd wait. That seems high.

You are too early for September. I would expect you should pay around 400's on Jetblue via FLL. The problem is Jetblue Flights are not out for September yet.... Once Jetblue adds their flight schedule watch that price drop a lot.

I would definitely wait. We go in Sept. almost every year and usually don't book our flights for good airfare until around May. We fly on Delta out of MSP (via Atlanta) and usually pay around $470-$520.

We always book JB right when they open up flights for Jan/Feb. For us the prices are always the lowest. I keep checking to see if they drop but usually the lowest I see is the original price we paid.

We are also planning for September 2018.
With fixed week timeshares, we usually make a commitment in March or April.
This is Southwest non-stop from Orlando

So, I would say: Get serious about your booking 6 months out.
Saying that, I hope you are dealing with an airline that will rebate/credit lower prices if they drop the prices.
I think SW gives a credit, but that also depends on whether or not you can use it in time allowed.

Hi Jimmy,

Boston is terrible for Aruba.. They got a hold up there with the only non-stop and they make you guys pay. I go to Aruba a few times a year out of JFK and never pay over $400.(although i use points). My cousins who live up your way were trying to go in April for the kids spring break last year.. It never dropped below 650. They ended up driving to JFK to pay $325 ..
