eddy, is there one closer then this one taken from a satellite 12,500 miles (22,200km) over Earth. Or is it so it looks like a shot route.

It is a faster route than going through waterfront/downtown Oranjestad.

From the roundabout at the airport you head north and you are already on the Watty Vos Boulevard just follow the road and you will automatically exit the boulevard at the new roundabout near Sun Plaza Mall/Divi Resort. The entire route from the airport to Divi Resort takes 8 or less minutes depending on your speed on the new highway.

I can not find any closer map as of yet.

Thanks Eddy. I saw that map, hopefully someone will make one with more detail soon. I also saw one that it was almost impossible to follow the route. At least this one you can kinda make out where it is at.

Looking at that map, it looks like it adds more mileage. They could have saved a lot of money by just erecting pedestrian overpasses in Oranjestaad. The traffic gets backed up because of people crossing the road.

This new road makes about as much sense as the sidewalk to the airport.

New road is quick...however, came through town late this afternoon with a cruise ship in and people walking around (oh my eyes but that is for a different topic :lol:)...quick trip to airport! Too many cars on the island but the new road makes a big difference!!!

Anyone else look at the speedo in the video? He was cruising at 50 most of the time. Quicker than crawling by the Renn.
