Used to own 2 weeks in Oct. at the Phoenix along with 2 at Costa Linda in May/June. Still own 2 weeks at Costa Linda. Found that the 2 weeks in Oct. took some of the shine away from the glorious Costa Linda trip so we sold the Phoenix weeks. That was like trying to sell sand in the Sahara!!!
Now we do 17-18 nights at Costa Linda.
However, after our trip in 2020 when we bring our grandson down (he'll be 19 then) we will most likely sell our Aruba weeks and go somewhere in the states instead.
We're older and the travel days are awful and the island is changing somewhat negatively in several ways.
Sorry. It is what it is.

We have been doing 3 weeks for sometime. 2 at our timeshare and 1 week at a small villa.

We have been doing 3 weeks for a long time. We leave in 8 days. We started out 1 week at a time then 2 and finally settled on 3. Been going since the 80's. Stayed at the Divi and can remember bringing all the 240 electrical converters. No tv or fridge but back then Aruba wasn't so crowded and it was awesome.

We started with a week, bought a timeshare on that first visit, then came for 2 weeks at a time, then bought more weeks of timeshare and now stay for a month, because we retired. We could easily stay longer if we could; we don't get bored because we are active and love to spend time catching up with Aruba friends. Its been 20 years consecutively and it has become part of our lives; I can't imagine not going, but eventually as we age, things do change.

With all due respect to those of you who are responding to your length of stay. It is amazing that not to many people post trip reports, Know that's a little more interesting than 2 weeks, 3 weeks 11 days etc etc etc

Yes, we know, you post a lot of tripreports and interesting stuff over here. Better do it yourself before you tell other people what to do.

Our longest stay was 3 weeks; found that too long. We have gone for two weeks for the last 25 years at our timeshare but now that I'm retired, I find that a bit too long. I think 10 or 11 days would be ideal for us.

We own two weeks, but have been adding a third for the past few years. I find that is the perfect length of time to decompress and unwind. I am a teacher, so I can do the three weeks in the summer. When we retire, we plan to do 3-4 weeks, twice a year!

I am a retired teacher. When we started we stayed a week in March or over New Years. Now we're up to 3.5 weeks and just love it. I think it's the perfect length of time.

Last year for the first time I stayed for 21 days and loved it! But my typical stay is 2 weeks and has been for several years. I'm not yet retired. When I am, I would like to think that 3 weeks could be a possibility again (I own 6 weeks, and rent out what I don't use).

Having said that, if all I could get was a week I'd still go.

We stay for 3 weeks in September now that we’re retired. We used to split our alloted vacation time so we visited twice a year as it is such an easy trip from JFK. Have stayed for four weeks and it felt longish. We love Aruba as much today as we did 20 years ago. (Also owned a home in Aruba for 6 years but sold it before we retired.)

In recent years we’ve rented a condo on Miami Beach for 3 months and enjoy the contrast in the two places. have our tickets to return to Aruba. Life is good.

Celebrating 25 years together next month!!
