ORANJESTAD-Construction workers are working night and day making sure that
Aruba's main street will be one of the most attractive in the region. The palm
trees have been placed, and the rails are completed. The new street lights were
officially put on by the Prime Minister, Mike Eman, and Audrey Lacle, President
of the Oranjestad's business organization MAMBO last night.

The main street had a soft opening last weekend, providing shoppers access to
many businesses for the Christmas Holidays. The main street is expected to be
fully finished in the first half of 2013. The street car will be operational on
Saturday December 22nd.
