Additional Openings of MC Donald's, Wendy's And Taco Bell

Aruba's first Taco Bell restaurant opened in the 1990's, it has been renovated to
the result as shown in the image above. Taco Bell is planning to open a 4th major
restaurant in Oranjestad.

ORANJESTAD-The island is experiencing a boom in the fast food sector not seen
since the 1990's. Numerous fast food chains mainly of U.S. franchise have
opened or are in the process of opening a branch in Aruba. The boom in the fast
food sector is another sign of growing confidence as stated by the Central Bank
of Aruba in the island economy.

MC Donald's

MC Donald's will be back in Oranjestad after it was obliged to leave the Renaissance
Mall in favor of the fashion store Louis Vuitton almost 10 years ago. MC Donald's
is constructing a restaurant near Texaco gas station in the suburb of Seroe Blanco,
marking its re-entry in the city. MC Donald's has two franchised restaurants on the
island, one in Palm Beach, and the second in Santa Cruz.

Wendy's will be opening a new restaurant in the town of Tanki Leendert at Kalalu Plaza
Mall next to Marky Bee's. It will be Wendy's fourth restaurant in Aruba. At present
there is a Wendy's restaurant in Oranjestad, San Nicolas and Palm Beach.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell has relocated their restaurant in Oranjestad from the Renaissance
Marketplace to the Kinikini building near the courthouse last week. Taco Bell will
start construction of a second major restaurant including drive thru in Oranjestad.
Taco Bell's newest restaurant will be constructed on the vacant territory with the
submerged concrete pillars opposite Wendy's on Lloyd G. Smith Boulevard. Taco Bell
has existing restaurants in Bubali and Santa Cruz.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Kentucky Fried Chicken is planning on expanding its existing restaurants to
accommodate more clients. There is no intention of opening additional restaurants.
KFC was the first U.S. fast food franchise in Aruba with the opening of a restaurant
in Oranjestad. They have then opened a branch in San Nicolas and Santa Cruz. The
fourth KFC restaurant was opened in Palm Beach recently.
