ORANJESTAD-Air Tran announced this week that it will offer nonstop weekend service between BWI
Marshall Airport in Baltimore and Aruba as of December 17th 2011. According to BWI spokesman
Jonathan Dean, the Saturday and Sunday service is the first new international route launched by
AirTran since it became a subsidiary of Southwest.

Aruba will be the sixth nonstop Caribbean destination offered by AirTran from BWI Marshall Airport
after Bermuda, (Montego Bay) Jamaica, (Cancun) Mexico, (Nassau) Bahamas, and (San Juan)
Puerto Rico. To celebrate the occasion, AirTran is offering one-way fares to Aruba from Baltimore
starting at US$159.00.

Baltimore is the third destination of AirTran for Aruba. The low budget carrier first began servicing
Aruba from Atlanta on December 19th 2009. AirTran added Orlando last year as its second
destination to Aruba. AirTran Holdings offer businessmen attractive fares, and it is one of the few
air carriers to offer wireless internet on board each flight.
