"San Nicolas Risin"

August 18th 2011, Aruba.

ORANJESTAD-Island Temptations magazine dedicated the 2011 Summer edition to Aruba's second
largest city, San Nicolas. The current Miss Aruba, Gillian Berry, who happens to live in
SanNicolas, is portrayed in the front cover of the magazine welcoming a new day in her city.
San Nicolas is often nicknamed the Sun Rise City for its spectacular sun rises in the early hours of
the morning.

The magazine is filled with the latest on island fashion, and adds of places you must eat, play,
drink and shop. The magazine begins with the story of San Nicolas, and what makes Aruba's
second largest city so special and unique on page 33, portraying local models on different sites
in and around the city. On page 52 is where it really gets personal, uncovering the soul of
San Nicolas, with the stories of over a dozen locals who live and or run a business in the city.

Island Temptations is a local magazine with three editions a year, and over 100,000 copies per
edition. Per edition, 25,000 copies are shipped to the North American market, and 75,000 copies
are distributed to the major resorts, popular cafes/restaurants, local retail outlets, and Ling & Sons
Supermarket on the island.

Island Temptations Summer 2011 edition makes up for a good read, as it brings a better
understanding of a city we usually don't know much about. Visitors heading to Baby Beach or
Rodgers Beach often go through San Nicolas to their destination without visiting the many eateries
and sites the city has to offer, and hearing the stories of locals who are just happy to tell them.
Island Temptations covered the town that is San Nicolas successfully, and gives the reader a good
taste of the city.
